ThyssenKrupp Nirosta is a large-scale producer with powerful, specialized production facilities. Our production technology throughout the company is of the highest standard.

At our plant in Krefeld we are currently developing the world´s first stainless steel strip caster for industrial use.

This technology makes it possible to cast strip directly from molten steel – eliminating several intermediate steps.

In the downstream area, too, processing steps are being combined to make operation more continuous and further shorten the production route.

ThyssenKrupp Nirosta has also added significantly to its range of services for customers with a new finishing center at Krefeld, where coils can be cut to specified sizes, automatically packaged, stored and then delivered just-in-time.
